Present Continuous shows actions happening now or around now. It uses the verb to be + verb-ing.

Subject + am/is/are + verb-ing. Example: I am studying English right now.

She is reading a book in the library. The action is in progress at the moment.

Subject + am not / is not / are not + verb-ing. Example: They aren't watching TV now.
