Je deviens roi des Francs à la mort de mon père Childéric en 481.

Des indices

Au cours de mon long règne (481-511), je parviens à m'imposer et m'empare d'une grande part de la Gaule.

En 507, je suis victorieux à Vouillé face au roi des Wisigoths Alaric qui trouve la mort dans la bataille.

J'épouse en 493 Clotilde, la fille du roi des Burgondes et princesse chrétienne catholique.

En 496 (?), sous l'influence de Clotilde, je suis baptisé à Reims et reçoit ainsi le soutien de l'Eglise catholique.

En 511, à ma mort le royaume des Francs est partagé entre mes quatre fils.
