Teoría

Aprender un nuevo idioma puede parecer difícil, pero existen muchos puntos a favor del español cuando se estudia inglés. Uno de ellos es que muchas palabras son muy parecidas en ambos idiomas, tanto en su forma como en su significado.

Estas palabras se llaman “cognados” o “palabras parecidas”, y conocerlas facilita mucho la comprensión y el aprendizaje. En la siguiente lista encontrarás ejemplos de palabras que se escriben y se pronuncian de manera similar en inglés y español, y que significan lo mismo o casi lo mismo.


Consejo:

Léelas en voz alta, repite su pronunciación en inglés y trata de usarlas en oraciones simples. Verás que aprender inglés puede ser más fácil de lo que imaginas.
