مقدمة عن حالة المادة

تعريف بسيط بالحالة الثلاث الأساسية للمادة: الحالة الصلبة والسائلة والغازية، وكيف تتغير تبعاً للحرارة أو الضغط.

حالة المادة الصلبة

الجسم في هذه الحالة له شكل وحجم ثابتين تقريباً بسبب ترابط الجزيئات وقوتها، وتوجد بلورات في المواد مثل الملح.

حالة المادة السائلة

السوائل لها حجم محدد لكنها تأخذ شكل الحاوية، وتتمدد قليلاً مع الحرارة وتنتشر دون شكل ثابت، وتتميز بالتحرك غير المنتظم للجزيئات.

حالة المادة الغازية

الغازات ليس لها شكل ولا حجم ثابتين، تملأ المساحة المتاحة وتتكاثف عند انخفاض الحرارة، وتتغير كثافتها وفق الضغط.

التغير الفيزيائي

التغير الفيزيائي يحدث عندما تتغير الحالة دون تغيير بنيوي في المادة، مثل الانصهار والتجميد والتبخر والتكثف.

الانصهار

الانصهار هو تحول المادة من الصلبة إلى السائلة عندما يمتص الحرارة الكافية، وتفقد البلورة صلابتها وتذوب.

التجمد

التجمـد يتحول فيه السائل إلى صلب عندما تنخفض الحرارة، وترتب الجزيئات نفسها في بنية مرتبة تعرف بالبلورة.

التبخر

التبخر عملية تحويل السائل إلى بخار عند درجات حرارة مناسبة، وتحدث غالباً عند سطح السائل بسبب الطاقة الحرارية.

التكثف

التكثف هو تغير الغاز إلى سائل عندما يبرد الهواء، فتتجمع جزيئات الغاز وتكوِّن قطرات مائية أو سحاباً.
