Introducción

Los circuitos eléctricos permiten que la electricidad circule de forma controlada. Comprender sus elementos y leyes facilita su diseño y seguridad.

Elementos básicos

Los elementos básicos son: fuente de energía, conductores para el trayecto, carga o consumo y interruptor para encender o apagar.

Ley de Ohm

La Ley de Ohm establece que la corriente es proporcional al voltaje e inversamente proporcional a la resistencia: I = V / R.

Serie

En serie, la misma corriente circula por todos los componentes, y el voltaje se reparte entre ellos según su resistencia.

Paralelo

En paralelo, el voltaje es el mismo en cada rama, mientras que las corrientes se suman para formar la corriente total.

Seguridad

Seguridad eléctrica: desconecta la fuente antes de manipular, evita tocar cables desnudos y usa protección personal adecuada.
