Chile se extiende de norte a sur con variaciones geomorfológicas y culturales. Factores físicos y humanos modelan cada región.

Norte Grande: relieve y clima

Predominan desiertos costeros y cordilleras altas. El clima árido influye en la economía minera y en la vivienda humana.

Norte Chico y Desierto Atacama

Extiende—from Atacama a la zona central—con valle seco y oportunidades agroindustriales limitadas por la aridez.

Región con clima templado, alta densidad poblacional y desarrollo agrícola intensivo en valles fértiles.
