Introducción

Las operaciones combinadas sin paréntesis se evalúan siguiendo la jerarquía: multiplicación y división primero, luego suma y resta.

Jerarquía de operaciones

En expresiones sin paréntesis, se respeta: multiplicación y división antes de suma y resta.

Paso 1: multiplicación y división

Primero se resuelven las multiplicaciones y divisiones de izquierda a derecha, sin saltarse ningún paso.

Paso 2: suma y resta

Después se realizan las suma y resta de izquierda a derecha, con el resultado acumulado.

Igualdad de prioridad

Si hay varias operaciones de la misma prioridad, se evalúan de izquierda a derecha.

Ejemplo 1

Ejemplo: 3 + 4 × 2 = primero 4 × 2 = 8, luego 3 + 8 = 11.

Ejemplo 2

Ejemplo: 10 - 6 ÷ 3 = 6 ÷ 3 = 2; 10 - 2 = 8.
