Planteamos situaciones que muy probablemente se harán realidad en el futuro

Usos


Se usa para hablar de planes que podrían hacerse realidad si se cumplen ciertas condiciones, como viajar o planificar vacaciones.

Ejemplo:

If I sabe enough money, I will go to the beach

Si Ahorro suficiente dinero, iré a la playa.

Estructura básica

El primer condicional o First Conditional tiene (2) cláusulas:

Cláusula de condición + Cláusula de resultados (Main clause)

  • Cláusula de condición -> If + subject + present simple
  • Cláusula de resultados(Main clause) -> Subject + will + verbo infinitivo 

Ejemplo:

If she passes the exam, she will travel abroad 

Si ella aprueba el exámen viajará al extranjero.

Importante! 💡

La cláusula de resultado/Main clause puede ir al inicio o al final.


  • Si la cláusula de resultado va al inicio, NO necesitamos usar coma(,)

Ejemplo:

You will pass the exam if you study hard.

Aprobarás el examen si estudias duro.


  • Si la cláusula de resultado NO va al inicio, NECESITAMOS usar coma (,)

Ejemplo:

If you study hard, you will pass the exam.

Si estudias duro, pasarás el examen.
