¿Qué son Las Plantas?

Las plantas son organismos que viven fijos en el suelo, no son capaces de desplazarse y su alimentación es autótrofa. Su color verde se debe a una sustancia llamada clorofila. Todas las plantas se incluyen en un mismo reino, el Reino de las Plantas (pincha en el enlace si quieres saber más sobre el reino de las plantas o vegetales).

La botánica clasifica a las plantas en grupos que tengan características similares. Tenemos dos grandes grupos llamados Inferiores y Superiores.
