How to create a Word Search Puzzle

To create your Word Search Puzzle, simply provide a title to Ray, your AI assistant. Ray will generate words on the subject you specify. You can review and make any changes before publishing. Ray can also create your game from a piece of text.

Alternatively, if you prefer to create the game manually, you can skip Ray and provide the words yourself.

Certainly! You have the flexibility to use any characters you want in the words, providing you with total freedom to create. This means you can make a Japanese Word Search Puzzle, a Chinese Word Search Puzzle, an Arabic Word Search Puzzle, a Hebrew Word Search Puzzle, and more. The possibilities are endless!

By default, words are arranged to east, south, southeast, and northeast.

If most words are written in a right-to-left alphabet, such as Arabic, then by default, words are arranged to west, south, southwest, and northwest.

Enabling the 'All directions' option allows words to be arranged in every possible direction.

Absolutely! Your Word Search creator allows you to include text, audio, pictures, or a combination of them as hints to find the words. You can even incorporate animated gifs.

By default, players see the words they must find along with any associated pictures or audios. However, once you add a picture or audio, you can choose to hide the word and show only the media.

If you prefer not to show anything (neither words nor media), you can go to the Options tab and turn on the 'Hide words and multimedia' option.

The maximum number of words allowed in your Word Search game is 30, and you can create a game with as few as 1 word. However, we believe the game experience is better when the number of words ranges from 4 to 15.

Yes, you can create a Word Search Puzzle game with multiple screens by clicking on the 'Add Word Search Puzzle' button. It is recommended to divide your game into multiple screens when you have many words.

By default, mistakes are not penalized in this type of game. However, you can enable penalties. In this case, the maximum score for the next word you find is halved each time you select a group of letters that is not a valid word. After the third time this happens, the score for the next word will be zero.

Yes, when 'Penalize mistakes' is enabled in the 'Options' tab of the editor, you must choose a limited number of lives. Players will lose a life each time they select a group of letters that is not a word to find.

Yes! You can enable a time limit for each screen in the 'Options' tab of the editor.
