How to create a Memory game online

To create your Memory game, simply provide a title to Ray, your AI assistant. Ray will generate pairs of cards based on the subject you specify. You can review and make any changes before publishing. Ray can also create your game from a piece of text.

If you prefer to create the game manually, you can skip Ray and generate the pairs of cards yourself.

By default, the Memory game maker creates pairs of identical cards. However, you can enable the option 'Different cards' to create pairs of cards that are not identical but related to each other. For example, you can match the word "firefighter" with a picture of a firefighter, or two synonym words.

Absolutely! Your Memory game generator allows you to include text, audio, pictures, or a combination of them on your cards. You can even incorporate animated gifs.

The maximum number of pairs allowed in your Memory game is 30, and you can create a game with as few as 2 pairs. However, we believe the game experience is better when the number of pairs ranges from 4 to 15.

Yes, you can create a Memory game with multiple screens by clicking on the 'Add screen' button. It's recommended to divide your game into multiple screens when you have many pairs of cards.

By default, mistakes are not penalized in this type of game. However, you can enable penalties. In this case, the maximum score for a card is halved each time players turn over a card without matching it, except for the first time this happens. After the fourth time this happens, the score for that card will be zero.

How to play a Memory game

To play a Memory game, turn over two cards at a time, aiming to match pairs. Pairs can consist of two identical cards or two cards that are related to each other.

To enlarge a picture, simply press on it. Audios will automatically start playing when the card is turned over and will stop when it is turned over again. You can pause and resume the audio of the first card you turn over.

If you want to save your grade, identify yourself before playing. Tap/click on 'Press here to identify yourself' and enter a Nickname, an invitation code, or log in before starting.

Once you finish the game, your score will be automatically saved, and the author of the game can view it in the Reports section.

If you are logged in as a user or as a guest, you can also view your scores in your own Reports section.

You start with 0 points and can earn up to 100 points depending on the pairs you match correctly.

The total score is divided by the number of cards. For example, if there are 10 cards, each one is worth 10 points.

By default, mistakes are not penalized in this type of game. However, the author can enable the option. In this case, the maximum score for a card is halved each time you turn over a card without matching it, except for the first time this happens. After the fourth time this happens, the score for that card will be zero.

If the 'Penalize mistakes' option is enabled, you will indeed have a set number of lives, and you will lose one life each time you turn over a card without matching it, except for the first time this happens.

By default, there is no time limit, but the author can activate the 'Time' option to set a maximum time to complete each screen. The remaining time will be displayed in the lower left corner of the screen.

If you are stuck and want to exit the game, press the 'Quit' button in the bottom-right corner of the screen. The game will end, and your current score will be saved.
