Empezamos con las primeras expresiones artísticas del ser humano, nuestros antepasados pintaban en cuevas usando minerales, tierra y carbón.

Estas pinturas casi siempre representaban animales y escenas de caza, porque eran muy importantes para su supervivencia.

Un ejemplo famoso son las pinturas de Lascaux, en Francia.

También vimos esculturas como la Venus de Willendorf, una figura pequeñita que representa la fertilidad.

Arte egipcio

Ahí estudiamos cómo construían pirámides enormes para enterrar a los faraones.

Los egipcios escribían con jeroglíficos, una escritura hecha de dibujos.

En su arte, combinaban vistas: por ejemplo, la cabeza de perfil, el cuerpo de frente y los pies de perfil.

También representaban dioses con cuerpo humano y cabeza de animal, como Anubis o Horus.
