About this activity

La fotosíntesis es el proceso químico mediante el cual las plantas, algas y algunas bacterias utilizan la energía de la luz solar para convertir el dióxido de carbono y el agua en glucosa (un tipo de azúcar) y oxígeno. Este proceso es fundamental para la vida en la Tierra, ya que produce alimento y el oxígeno que respiramos. Ocurre principalmente en los cloroplastos de las células vegetales, gracias al pigmento clorofila.
