Welcome! Today you will learn the Present Continuous in a simple, interactive way. Click Next to begin.

What is the Present Continuous?

The Present Continuous describes actions happening now or around the present moment.
Examples:
She is studying.
They are playing football.

Grammatical Structure

Structure: Subject + am/is/are + verb + ing.
Examples:
I am eating.
She is reading.
We are working.
Note: Don’t forget the “-ing” ending!

When do we use it?

Uses: Actions happening right now, temporary situations, and actions around the present moment.
Example: He is living in Santiago this month.

Choose the correct sentence using Present Continuous.
