Los números nos rodean y tienen diferentes tipos. Hoy aprenderás sus nombres, usos y ejemplos simples para entenderlos mejor.

Introducción

Los números nos rodean y tienen diferentes tipos. Hoy aprenderás sus nombres, usos y ejemplos simples para entenderlos mejor.

Números naturales

Los números naturales se utilizan para contar objetos: 0, 1, 2, 3, ... Son infinitos y no tienen signos.

Números enteros

Los números enteros incluyen positivos, negativos y cero. Se pueden ordenar en la recta numérica.

Números racionales

Los números racionales expresan fracciones y decimales. Se obtienen dividiendo uno entre otro, como 1/2 o 0.75.

Números irracionales

Los números irracionales no se pueden escribir como fracciones exactas. Ejemplos: √2 y π.

Números reales

Los números reales combinan racionales e irracionales y forman una recta numérica continua.

Números primos

Un número primo es mayor que 1 y solo tiene dos divisores: 1 y él mismo. Ejemplos: 2, 3, 5.

Negativos y positivos

Los números positivos están a la derecha de cero y los negativos a la izquierda. El cero es neutral.

Pares e impares

Los números pares se pueden dividir entre 2. Los impares no lo son. 0, 2, 4 son pares; 1, 3, 5 son impares.
