Introducció al Cicle de l'Aigua

El cicle de l'aigua és el moviment constant d'aigua entre atmósfera, superfície i subsòl, impulsat per l'energia solar i la gravetat. Manté la vida i el clima.

Evaporació

Evaporació és quan l'aigua de mars, llacs i rius s'evapora, transformant-se en vapor i pujant cap a l'atmosfera per iniciar el cicle.

Condensació

Condensació és la transformació del vapor en gotes d'aigua, formant núvols i marcant el pas de gas a líquid a l'atmosfera.

Precipitació

Precipitació és quan els núvols queden saturats i l'aigua cau com a pluja, neu o granís, retornant a la superfície.

Recollida superficial

Recollida superficial és l'aigua que s'acumula en rius i llacs, alimentant mars i cicles de transport d'aigua a la superfície.

Infiltració

Infiltració és l'aigua que s'infiltra al sòl, alimentant capes aquíferes i replegant el subsol per al futur ús.
