No es un loro ni un gallo; se asocia con la producción de huevos.

Es un ave de corral que suele caminar despacio por el corral.

Come hierba todo el día, me muevo con calma y rumiando; tengo campana o vaca vieja, y de mi leche salen cosas ricas en la mesa.

Soy chiquito y muy alegre, salgo cuando hay sol, mi lana es esponjosa y me dan mimos al montón. Brinco en el prado, sigo a mi mamá, y cuando crezco, me llaman… ¿Cómo será?

Tengo hocico y cola, me gusta revolcar en el barro, hago “oink” con gusto y corro muy sin faro. En la granja me buscan por mi tocino y jamón, pero también me cuidan con amor.
