EVALUACION PARA UNA ALUMNA CIEGA

TENEMOS EL CASO DE UNA ALUMNA CIEGA QUE CURSA DE 3 GRADO, SUS PRIMEROS AÑOS LOS ESTUDIO EN CASA CON AYUDA DE SU MADRE Y UNA TERAPEUTA, LA CUAL SOLICITA QUE LA ALUMNA SE INTEGRE A UNA ESCULA REGULAR PARA EL DESARROLLO DE HABILIDADES SOCIALES

DENTRO DE LA ESCUELA REGULAR SE BUSCARAN ESTRATEGIAS CON BASE A LA NEM PARA EL TRABAJO INCLUSIVO CON ESTE TIPO DE ALUMNOS Y PERMITIR PUEDAR GENERAR CONOCIMIENTOS E INTERACCIONES CON TOSOS SUS COMPAÑEROS.

Evaluar a un alumno ciego de 3.º de primaria que domina el sistema Braille, en una escuela regular con poco conocimiento del Braille, es totalmente posible si se aplican ajustes razonables y se prioriza el aprendizaje real sobre el formato. A continuación te presento una guía clara, práctica y alineada al enfoque inclusivo de la Nueva Escuela Mexicana (NEM).

1. Principio clave de evaluación

👉 Evalúa los aprendizajes, no la discapacidad.

El criterio, los contenidos y los aprendizajes esperados son los mismos que para el resto del grupo; lo que cambia es la forma de evidenciarlos.

2. Modalidades de evaluación recomendadas

A. Evaluación oral (prioritaria)

Dado que el alumno tiene altas habilidades verbales, esta debe ser una vía central.

Ejemplos:

  • Explicación oral de un tema
  • Respuestas verbales a preguntas
  • Narración de lecturas escuchadas
  • Resolución oral de problemas matemáticos
  • Debates o exposiciones breves

✅ Ideal para:

  • Español
  • Conocimiento del medio
  • Formación cívica y ética

B. Evaluación escrita en Braille

Si el alumno maneja Braille, debe permitirse y valorarse.

Opciones prácticas:

  • El alumno escribe en regleta o máquina Perkins
  • Un docente de apoyo, USAER o familiar transcribe a tinta
  • El docente evalúa el contenido, no la ortografía visual

⚠️ Si la escuela no domina Braille:

  • Evalúa con apoyo externo
  • O pide al alumno leer en voz alta lo que escribió

C. Evaluación auditiva y tecnológica

Cuando sea posible:

Herramientas útiles:

  • Grabaciones de audio
  • Lectores de pantalla (NVDA, TalkBack)
  • Respuestas grabadas en celular o grabadora
  • Audiolibros o textos leídos por el docente

3. Evaluación por área

✏️ Español

  • Lectura en Braille → comprensión oral
  • Producción de textos en Braille u oral
  • Narraciones, descripciones, opiniones

Ejemplo:

“Después de escuchar el cuento, cuéntame qué pasó al inicio, desarrollo y final”.

➗ Matemáticas

  • Material concreto (semillas, tapones, regletas)
  • Problemas leídos en voz alta
  • Resultados explicados verbalmente
  • Operaciones en Braille si es posible

Se evalúa:

  • Razonamiento
  • Estrategia
  • Resultado
  • ❌ No la presentación visual
