Esta forma de representar información es fundamental en el mundo digital y te permitirá entender mejor cómo funcionan los dispositivos electrónicos, desde la computadora que tienes en casa hasta los smartphones que utilizas a diario.

¿QUÉ ES EL CÓDIGO BINARIO?

"Forma de representar información utilizando solo dos símbolos: 0 y 1"


*Estos dígitos representan dos estados posibles:

Apagado (0) y encendido (1).


*Estos estados se corresponden con la ausencia o presencia de una señal eléctrica. De esta forma, cualquier información que se quiera almacenar o transmitir puede ser representada mediante una combinación de ceros y unos.

¿POR QUÉ SE UTILIZA EL CÓDIGO BINARIO?

"Porque es la forma más eficiente de representar información en un dispositivo electrónico"


Al utilizar solo dos símbolos, se reduce la complejidad de los circuitos y se aumenta la velocidad de procesamiento de la información.
