Se forma con el verbo base para la mayoría de sujetos: I work, you work, they work. 2 Estructura positiva En oraciones afirmativas, sujeto + verbo base (+ s para he/she/it) + complemento. Ejemplos: I work, you work, she works, we work. 3 Sujeto I/You/We/They Para I, you, we y they, el verbo base se usa sin cambios: I play, they play, we play. 4 Sujeto He/She/It Con he, she y it, agrega -s al verbo base: he plays, she walks, it runs. 5 Negaciones Para negar, usa do not (don't) o does not (doesn't) + verbo base: I do not work, she does not work. 6 Preguntas Para preguntar, invierte el auxiliar: Do/Does + sujeto + verbo base: Do you work?, Does he work?. 7 Adverbios de frecuencia Expresan cuán a menudo ocurre algo: always, usually, often, sometimes, never. Colócalos entre sujeto y verbo: I usually work. 8 Contracciones útiles En el habla diaria, usamos don't y doesn't en negaciones, y don't en preguntas cortas: Don't you work?, She doesn't work. 9 Errores comunes Evita usar gerundios o estructuras de otro tiempo. No olvides la s en he/she/it y usa el verbo base para los demás sujetos.
