LURRAREN KOORDENATUAK

Lurraren koordenatuen sistema planetako edozein puntu non dagoen zehazteko erabiltzen da.

Lurreko puntu bat kokatu ahal izateko, puntu hori zer latitudetan eta zer longitudetan dagoen neurtzen duten irudizko lerro batzuk trazatu dira. Paraleloak eta meridianoak dira.

Paraleloak ekuatorearekiko paralelo dauden irudizko lerroak dira.Ekuatorea (0°paraleloa) Lurra bi zati berdinetan zatitzen duen irudizko lerroa da: ipar hemisferioa eta hego hemisferioa.

Meridianoak, berriz, Ipar eta Hego poloren artean palaleloekiko perpendikularrak dauden irudizko lerroak dira. Greenwich-eko(0°meridianoa) da erreferentziako meridianoa.

NOLA ADIERAZI LURRA

Lurra edo haren zati bat adierazteko, Munduko bolak, planoak eta mapak erabiltzen ditugu.

Munduko bolak esfera batzuk dira, eta lurrazeloko elementuak adierazten dira bertan. poloak (ipar eta hego poloak), meridiano eta paralelo nagusiak,  munduko herrialdeak, itsasoak eta ozeanoak.

Planoek xehetasun handiagoz adierazten dituzte eremu txikiagoak (herri bat, etxe bat, logela bat,...)

Mapak Lurraren edo haren zati baten adierazpen grafiko lauak dira. Ematen diguten informazioaren arabera sailkatzen dira. Adierazgarrienak mapa fisikoak, politikoak eta tematikoak dira. Mapak Lur osoa adierazten duenean planisferio esaten zaio
