Introducción

En oraciones simples, el núcleo del sujeto es el sustantivo principal que realiza la acción o de quien se habla. Los modificadores añaden información sobre ese núcleo.

¿Qué es el núcleo del sujeto?

El núcleo del sujeto es el sustantivo o pronombre principal que concuerda con el verbo. Es la pieza central de la frase.

Identificar el núcleo

Para hallar el núcleo, pregunta: ¿Quién o qué realiza la acción? El nombre o pronombre que contesta esa pregunta es el núcleo.

Modificadores del sujeto

Los modificadores del sujeto informan sobre el núcleo: pueden ser adjetivos, determinantes, o expresiones. No cambian el núcleo.

Ejemplos simples

“El niño curioso juega.” Aquí niño es el núcleo y curioso su modificador.

Concordancia verbal

El verbo concuerda con el núcleo del sujeto. Si el núcleo es singular, el verbo también; si es plural, el verbo cambia.

Modificadores determinantes

Determinantes como el, la, los, las acompañan al núcleo y señalan género y número.

Modificadores descriptivos

Los adjetivos acompañan al núcleo para describirlo: grande, azul, etc.
