La robótica es una rama de la ingeniería y la tecnología que se dedica al diseño, construcción y programación de robots, es decir, máquinas capaces de realizar tareas de forma automática o con cierto nivel de autonomía.

¿Qué funciones tiene la robótica?

La robótica cumple varias funciones importantes:

  • Automatización de tareas: realiza trabajos repetitivos sin cansarse.
  • Precisión y control: puede hacer tareas con mucha exactitud, como en cirugías.
  • Exploración: permite investigar lugares peligrosos o inaccesibles (espacio, océanos).
  • Asistencia: ayuda a las personas en la vida diaria, por ejemplo en el hogar o en hospitales.
  • Aprendizaje y adaptación: algunos robots usan inteligencia artificial para mejorar con la experiencia.

¿Cuáles son sus componentes básicos?

Un robot normalmente tiene:

  • Sensores: detectan el entorno (luz, temperatura, movimiento).
  • Actuadores: permiten el movimiento (motores, ruedas, brazos).
  • Controlador: es el “cerebro”, donde se ejecuta la programación.
