Las unidades de longitud miden qué tan largo es un objeto. Se usan en ciencia, ingeniería y vida diaria para comparar medidas.

Unidad principal: (M) Metro

El metro es la unidad base de longitud. Se define a partir de la velocidad de la luz.

(KM) Kilómetro

Un kilómetro (km) equivale a 1000 metros. Se usa para distancias entre ciudades y trayectos largos.

(CM) Centímetro

El centímetro (cm) equivale a 0,01 metros o 10 milímetros. Usado en objetos pequeños y medidas de ropa.

Conversión rápida

Conversión base: 1 m = 100 cm = 1000 mm, y 1 km = 1000 m. Usa la unidad seguida de ceros (0) para cambiar de unidad.

Ejemplos prácticos

Ejemplos: una regla mide 30 cm, un automóvil ~4 m de largo, y una ciudad ~80 km de distancia.
