I float in the sky, big or small, Change shape- white or gray, one and all. I bring shade, rain, or snow when I'm grown- Not a bird, not a plane, just the sky's own!

I'm high in the sky, thin, wispy and light, Made of ice crystals, a feathery sight- I stretch like a brushstroke, far up above, Who am I that the sky softest love?

I am made mostly of ice crystals and my name starts with 'cir' and ends with 'rus'.

I look like delicate feathers or hair stretched across the blue.

I hang far above the ground, where airplanes often fly.

Low grey blanket, smooth and spread, Like fog that's lifted overhead. No lumps or gaps- just even grey, Who am I that drizzle or mist comes my way?

I'm puffy and white, like cotton ball mound, With a flat base below, and a round, fluffy crown- I float on warm days, when the weather is bright, Who am I with a cheerful sight?

Low lumps grey and white, Spread wide with all their might, Not tall, just soft and broad, Who am I that calm skies where I reside.

Mid-level grey or soft blue, I wrap the sky clear through. Light rain or snow may start to fall- Who am I that covers all?

High white sheet up in the blue, Halo glows around sun and moon too. Who am I where cold winds blow?
