Un fenómeno natural es cualquier evento observable en la naturaleza. Ocurre por fuerzas físicas, químicas o biológicas y no requiere intervención humana.

Se dividen en fenómenos físicos (cambian estado o forma, sin sustancias nuevas) y fenómenos químicos (forman sustancias nuevas o cambian su composición).
