1) Si a una cantidad x le añades 3x, ¿qué expresa la suma? Observa que x + 3x = 4x.

Pistas

Suma los coeficientes de x.

Agrupa la x como un factor común.

Observa términos semejantes.

2) En potencias, ¿qué expresión es igual a (x^2)*(x^3)?

Pistas

Suma 2 + 3 para obtener el nuevo exponente.

Escribe los exponentes 2 y 3 junto a x.

Aplica la regla de exponentes: cuando la base es la misma, se suman los exponentes al multiplicar.

3) Resuelve la operación combinada: 3 + 4 * 2.

Pistas

No sumes primero, porque la multiplicación tiene prioridad.

Después haces la suma.

Primero realiza la multiplicación.

4) Evalúa (2x)^2 aplicando la potencia a cada factor.

Pistas

El resultado es (2)^2 * (x)^2 = 4x^2.

Aplica la potencia a 2 y a x por separado.

Usa la regla (ab)^n = a^n b^n para números y variables.

5) Evalúa la expresión 5x - x^2 para x = 3.

Pistas

Luego 5x = 15 y 15 - 9 = 6.

Calcula x^2 → 3^2 = 9.

Sustituye x por 3 en la expresión.
