La Investigación Acción Participativa (IAP) busca transformar la realidad educativa mediante la investigación, participación y praxis.

2. Origen y referencia

María Teresa Sirvent sitúa la IAP en Nuestra América, con raíces en Freire y Fals Borda, para articular investigación y acción educativa.

4. Dualidad teoría-práctica

La IAP rechaza la falsa dualidad; busca hacer de la escuela un objeto de conocimiento colectivo y plural.

5. Conocer desde la acción

La investigación educativa debe pensarse con contextos situados y prácticas reales para transformar lo injusto.

6. Rol de los docentes

Las educadoras/es deben investigar su trabajo y colaborar para crear una escuela pública, inclusiva y democrática.

La IAP enfatiza participación interna y externo; escuchar voces plebeyas y disonantes para enriquecer el conocimiento.
