Welcome to Scan & Discover: ICT in Action. Scan QR codes to learn about ICT tools, their functions, advantages, and disadvantages.

Slide 2: Teacher Prep

Preparation: choose short videos or images showing ICT tools in action, then generate QR codes and place them around the classroom.

Slide 3: Student Task

Students receive a worksheet with four categories: ICT Tool, Feature/Function, Advantage, Disadvantage.

Slide 4: How to Scan

Peers scan QR codes with phones or tablets. Each code reveals a video or picture illustrating an ICT scenario.

Function: Communication
Advantage: Fast submission
Disadvantage: Risk of hacking

Other tools to spot: Projector, Video Conferencing (Zoom), Cloud Storage, Messaging Apps.
