Hace mucho tiempo, un hombre llamado Hernando de Lerma quiso construir una ciudad.

Eligió un lugar muy bonito, un valle rodeado de cerros altos.

Un día plantó un palo de madera, llamado Palo de la Justicia.

4. La fiesta fundacional

En ese lugar se armó una fiesta para celebrar: se reunieron soldados, curas y personas.

5. La fecha de nacimiento

Así, el 16 de abril de 1582, nació nuestra ciudad.

6. Primer nombre

Al principio se llamó San Felipe de Lerma, antes de adoptar el nombre actual Salta.

7. Cambio de nombre

Con el tiempo, la ciudad se consolidó y pasó a llamarse Salta, reflejando su identidad local.

8. Primeros habitantes

La fundación reunió a soldados, curas y personas que formaron la comunidad inicial.

9. Fecha histórica resaltada

La fecha clave 16 de abril de 1582 se convirtió en hito de la ciudad naciente.
