I am a language spoken on many shores, full of rhythm and color, with rolled r's and polite 'please' in many forms. I travel from Spain to many lands, borrowing from many tongues, and I am embraced by poets and travelers alike. What am I?

I am a Romance language that uses the ñ character and accent marks like á, é, í, ó, ú.

In English, I am commonly called this; in the language itself, it is written as 'español'.

I am a language associated with Spain and much of Latin America.
