Apa itu Huruf Hijaiyah?

Huruf hijaiyah adalah huruf dasar dalam bahasa Arab yang digunakan untuk membaca Al-Qur’an.

Jumlah huruf hijaiyah ada 28 huruf jika tidak memasukkan “Lam Alif” dan “Hamzah”.

Namun, ada juga pendapat yang menyebutkan jumlahnya menjadi 30 huruf jika memasukkan “Lam Alif” dan “Hamzah”.

ا = Alif ب = Ba ت = Ta ث = Tsa


ج = Jim ح= Ha خ = Kho د = Dal


ذ = Dzal ر = Ro ز = Zai س = Sin


ش = Syin ص= Shad ض = Dhad ط = Tha


ظ = Zha ع = ‘Ain غ = Ghain ف = Fa


ق = Qaf ك = Kaf ل = Lam م = Mim


ن = Nun و = Wau ه= Ha ي = Ya


لا = Lam Al ء = Hamzah
