Sin ser instrumento, hago que el aire entre y sale; en mi interior hay millones de bolsillos diminutos para el intercambio de gases.

Pistas

Se expande y se contrae al respirar; está protegido por una membrana llamada pleura.

Contiene alvéolos donde ocurre el intercambio de oxígeno y dióxido de carbono.

Órgano principal del sistema respiratorio ubicado en el pecho.

Vivo dentro de los pulmones y, pese a ser diminuto, soy clave para la vida: recibo aire de los bronquios y entrego oxígeno a la sangre a través de una barrera muy fina. ¿Qué soy?

Mi nombre empieza con 'alv' y mi función es facilitar la entrada de oxígeno y la salida de dióxido de carbono.

Constituyo el sitio principal del intercambio de gases entre el aire y la sangre.

Soy una estructura muy pequeña que se reparte en muchos sacos dentro del pulmón.
