Que es el sistema nervioso

Una división reparte un número entre otros, mostrando cuántas veces cabe. Es la acción de repartir por partes iguales.

Elementos clave

En una división, identificamos: dividendo, divisor y cociente. El dividendo es la cantidad a repartir; el divisor, la cantidad entre la que se reparte.

Ejemplo simple

Si repartimos 12 entre 3, el cociente es 4. Es decir, 12 ÷ 3 = 4.

Propiedades útiles

Propiedades útiles: dividir por 1 deja el número igual; dividir entre el mismo divisor da cociente 1; dividir 0 entre cualquier divisor da 0.

Barras de división

La división larga o por barras reparte paso a paso: dividendo dentro, divisor fuera, y cociente arriba.

Errores comunes

Errores frecuentes: confundir dividendo con divisor, olvidar el signo, o interpretar mal el cociente en decimales.

Práctica guiada

Prueba con: 45 ÷ 5 y 28 ÷ 7. Escribe el cociente y verifica con la multiplicación inversa.

Fracciones a divisiones

Las divisiones facilitan convertir fracciones. Por ejemplo, 3/4 dividido entre 1/2 equivale a 3/4 ÷ 1/2 = 3/2.

Rápido: dime el cociente de estas divisiones sin calculadora: 16 ÷ 4, 9 ÷ 3, 18 ÷ 6.
