Gimnasia Artistica

La Gimnasia artística tiene su origen pedagógico cuando Jahn (profesor del Instituto Alemán de Berlín) introdujo no solo movimientos y carreras. Fue el creador de las paralelas, y las actividades se realizaban al aire libre.

Gimnasia Artística en Juegos Olímpicos

* Se puede decir que es una de las disciplinas modernas más antiguas desde las primeras olimpiadas.

* En su desarrollo, hay que destacar dos etapas: la primera etapa que comprende desde Atenas 1896 a Londres 1948, y la segunda etapa que es desde las Olimpiadas de Helsinki 1952 hasta la actualidad.
