Qué es el área de un rectángulo

El área representa el espacio interior. Se mide en unidades cuadradas y se obtiene multiplicando la base por la altura: A = b × h.

Área = base × altura. Es decir, A = b × h. Recuerda que la base y la altura deben estar en las mismas unidades.
