En un espacio sin límites, tomo un punto y lo muevo sin acercarme ni alejarme de otros, solo giro alrededor de un eje invisible. No cambia su tamaño ni su forma, pero sí su dirección. ¿Qué transformación es?

En 2D es un giro; en 3D pueden existir varios ejes de giro y planos de rotación.

Puede ocurrir alrededor de una recta, no solo desplazarse a otra posición.

El movimiento preserva distancias entre puntos.
