1. ¿Qué es Queen?

Queen es una banda británica formada a comienzos de los años setenta, famosa por su sonido único y presentaciones teatrales.

2. Los inicios: Smile

Smile fue un grupo británico formado en Londres en 1968 por Brian May y Tim Staffel. Su estilo era rock melódico con influencias progresivas.

3. Miembros fundadores

Brian May (guitarra), Tim Staffel (voz). Ambos buscaban un sonido más ambicioso y técnico.

4. Freddie Mercury llega

En 1969-70 entra Freddie Mercury como cantante y pianista, aportando gran presencia escénica y carisma.

5. Cambio de nombre

Con Mercury, el grupo cambia de nombre: de Smile a Queen, buscando una identidad más poderosa.

6. Nueva formación

En 1971 se une John Deacon al bajo, completando la alineación clásica junto a May, Mercury y Taylor.

7. Primeros ensayos como Queen

La banda trabajó en canciones originales; buscaron un sonido más complejo y teatral, con armonías vocales.

Grabaron demos y participaron en recitales que mostraron su potencial comercial y artístico.

Realizaron presentaciones en clubes y pequeños teatros, ganando seguidores por su energía y repertorio original.
