Nací en Guanajuato, amonesté al pueblo a levantarse y romper las cadenas. Mi voz resonó en Dolores y dio inicio a una larga lucha por la libertad. ¿Quién soy?

Me levanté en 1810 y mi vida terminó en la lucha, con un desenlace trágico para mi movimiento.

Mi apellido es el de un santo nombre de nobleza y callejeo en la historia de México como ‘Hidalgo’.
