Una entrevista etnográfica busca comprender prácticas y significados en su contexto. Define objetivos claros, respeta a las personas y observa comunidades con empatía.

Preparación

Identifica el tema, selecciona participantes, elabora un plan flexible y solicita consentimiento informado. Planifica logística y tiempos adecuados para la entrevista.

Diseño de preguntas

Usa preguntas abiertas y neutrales. Evita jergas, migra de lo general a lo específico y permite pausas para respuestas reflexivas.

Relación con el participante

Construye confianza, demuestra interés genuino y respeta ritmos culturales. Mantén transparencia sobre el uso de la información.

Grabación y notas

Obtén permiso para grabar. Toma notas detalladas, registra contexto, gestos y silencios. Guarda información de forma segura y organizada.

Observación participante

Complementa entrevistas con observación directa. Registra acciones, rituales y dinámicas para enriquecer el análisis.

Adapta el tono, usa lenguaje inclusivo y culturalmente sensible. Crea un entorno cómodo que favorezca respuestas honestas.
