I drift through tanks and pens where fish reside, small as a grain but not to be ignored. I come from worn-out plastics and new, and travel with water and feed too. What am I, that can pass from pond to plate?

I am the system where fish are grown for food, In ponds and cages where water is used. When I am polluted, production is at risk, And contamination becomes more brisk

I am a place where waste can settle and stay, Storing tiny plastics that drift my way. I build up slowly beneath the sea, Holding pollution quietly

I am the system inside a fish’s core, Breaking down food and much more. When plastics enter, I may be hurt, Affecting health and growth alert.

I am the system used to clean water flow, Removing particles that harm fish below. Without me, pollution would increase fast, Making aquaculture hard to last
