Col egiales is one of the best neighborhoods in Buenos Aires for discovering street art. While nearby Palermo often gets more attention, Colegiales has a quieter atmosphere and many impressive murals spread throughout its streets, turning the neighborhood into an open-air gallery.

Some highlights include:
The Mercado de Pulgas area, where entire walls and building facades are covered with colorful murals and graffiti. The market itself has become one of the neighborhood's main urban art landmarks.

Murals by well-known local and international artists, including works by Franco Fasoli (Jaz), TEC, Juan Cuello, Florencia Lagos, and Jim Vision.

Most Famous Murals in Colegiales - 1

1. Mural Frida Kahlo
Probably the most photographed mural in Colegiales. Created by the collective Campos Jesses, it depicts Frida Kahlo with real chains attached to the wall as her necklaces, making it a unique mixed-media artwork. It's located on Av. Dorrego and has become one of the neighborhood's icons.

2. Toros "Teta en Salta"
