Introducción a las figuras

Las figuras geométricas son cuerpos planos y sólidos. Cada una tiene lados, vértices y, a veces, curvaturas. Hoy exploraremos ejemplos simples y útiles.

Triángulo

Un triángulo tiene 3 lados y 3 vértices. Sus ángulos se suman a 180 grados. Clasificaciones: equilátero, isósceles y escaleno.

Cuadrado

El cuadrado tiene 4 lados iguales y 4 vértices. Sus ángulos son rectos, de 90 grados.

Rectángulo

El rectángulo tiene 4 lados y 4 vértices. Lados opuestos son paralelos y de igual longitud. Sus ángulos también son rectos.

Círculo

Un círculo tiene una curva continua sin vértices ni lados. Se mide su diámetro y radio, conceptos importantes en mediciones y áreas.

Pentágono

El pentágono tiene 5 lados y 5 vértices. No todos los pentágonos tienen los mismos ángulos, tienen 5 ejes de simetría.

Hexágono

El hexágono posee 6 lados y 6 vértices. Puede ser regular (todos los lados iguales) o irregular, con diferentes ángulos.

Todas las figuras analizadas tienen lados y vértices. Contar los lados y vértices ayuda a clasificarlas y a entender su forma.

Dibuja en tu cuaderno tres figuras geométricas; describe cada una con su número de lados y vértices.
