1. ¿Qué es una semilla?

Una semilla de frijol es una pequeña planta dormida. Contiene nutrientes para crecer. La vemos como una bolsita con vida dentro.

2. Preparando la maceta

Coloca tierra en una maceta, humedécela ligeramente. La semilla necesita luz, agua y aire para empezar a despertarse.

3. Primer paso: la germinación

La semilla se abre con agua y calor. Surgen las primeras raíces, que buscarán nutrientes en la tierra.

4. Llegan la raíz

La raíz crece hacia abajo para beber agua. Mantén la tierra fresca y sin encharcar.

5. El tallo aparece

Un pequeño tallo emergen desde la semilla. Es la base para las futuras hojas y la planta.

6. Las hojas cotiledonares

Las primeras hojas son cotiledones. Son nutritivas para la planta hasta que crezcan hojas reales.

7. Hojas verdaderas

Las hojas reales aparecen. Empiezan a tomar luz y convierten agua y aire en alimento.

8. Crecimiento vertical

La planta se eleva hacia la luz. Un tallo más largo significa más fuerza para la planta.

9. ¿Qué cuida la planta?

Riega con paciencia, mantén la maceta cerca de la luz solar y evita corrientes fuertes.

Observa cada día el crecimiento. Con paciencia, la semilla se convierte en una planta de frijol llena de vida.
