La caída libre describe el movimiento vertical de un objeto bajo lagravedad sin resistencia del aire. Su aceleración es constante: g ≈ 9,81 m/s² hacia abajo.

En caída libre, la a es constante y positiva hacia abajo. Esto simplifica el análisis de velocidad y posición respecto al tiempo.

La velocidad se expresa como v = v₀ + g t, donde v₀ es la velocidad inicial, y t el tiempo transcurrido.
