Los seres vivos son organismos que crecen, se alimentan, se reproducen y responden a estímulos. Están interconectados con su entorno para mantener la vida.

2. ¿Qué es un ecosistema?

Un ecosistema es la mezcla de seres vivos y elementos no vivos que interactúan en un lugar. Producción, consumo y descomposición forman su flujo energético.

3. Productores, consumidores y descomponedores

Los productores elaboran alimento; los consumidores se alimentan de otros; los descomponedores transforman materia en nutrientes para el ambiente.

4. Funciones vitales de las plantas

Las plantas realizan fotosíntesis para producir oxígeno y energía. También nutren y respiran intercambiando gases con el entorno.

5. Clasificación de seres vivos

Se clasifican por características: vertebrados, invertebrados, plantas con semillas, plantas sin semillas. La clasificación ayuda a entender funciones.

Las plantas pueden tener semillas o no las tener. Las semillas permiten reproducción; la humedad y polinizadores las favorecen.
