I lie down deep beneath the blue sea, Made of heavy basalt, as dense as can be. I’m thinner and younger than the land up above—

Hidden deep at the center of Earth, I’ve been burning hot since the planet’s birth. Made of iron and nickel way down below—

I’m a swirling sea of melted metal, So blisteringly hot that no rock can settle. My liquid movement makes Earth's magnetic shield—
