1. ¿Qué es una medida de longitud?

La longitud mide cuán largo es algo. Se usa el metro como unidad base para medir distancias en el mundo.

Un metro equivale a 100 centímetros. Es la unidad principal para medir objetos, distancias y mapas sencillos.

El centímetro es más corto que el metro. 10 centímetros hacen un decímetro.

El milímetro es muy pequeño. 10 milímetros forman un centímetro, y 1000 milímetros un metro.

El decímetro equivale a 10 centímetros. Es útil para medir cuadernos o longitudes cortas.

El decámetro es igual a 10 metros. Se usa para distancias claras sin volver a mirar la regla.

7. El kilómetro

El kilómetro mide distancias largas. 1.000 metros componen un kilómetro; ideal para recorrer calles o rutas.

1 metro = 100 centímetros = 1.000 milímetros. Usamos distintas unidades según la medida necesaria.
