QUE ES EXCEL

Microsoft Excel 
  • Es un programa utilizado para la creación, manejo y almacenamiento de hojas de cálculo. 
  • Permite realizar trabajos contables, estadísticos y financieros; es decir, permite realizar operaciones matemáticas. 
  • Es una herramienta de pronóstico empresarial y análisis financiero que le permitirá tomar decisiones basándose en la evaluación de los resultados obtenidos

HOJA DE TRABAJO

  • Es el archivo que creamos con Excel, es decir, todo lo que hacemos en este programa se almacenará formando el libro de trabajo. 
  • •Un libro de trabajo está formado por varias hojas de cálculo.
  • En principio constará de 3 hojas aunque el número de éstas puede variar entre 1 y 255, cada una de ellas nombradas por defecto de la forma Hoja1, Hoja2,...

COLUMNAS

Cada columna se nombra por letras, por ejemplo: A, B, C…

FILAS

Cada fila se numera desde 1 hasta 65536.

CELDAS

Es un conjunto de celdas que Excel trata como una unidad.


Los rangos son vitales en la Hoja de Cálculo, ya que todo tipo de operaciones se realizan a base de rangos

MANEJO DE HOJAS

Haga clic en la opción Insertar del menú principal y seleccione el comando Hoja de Cálculo.


Otra forma es hacer clic derecho en una de las hojas y seleccionar la opción Insertar, eliminar, mover... y luego seleccionar el objeto Hoja de cálculo.
