RATÓN CON ALAS

Tito, el ratoncito, se pasaba las horas muertas mirando al cielo. Sus

padres estaban muy preocupados al ver que se olvidaba de jugar y de

comer.

Aquella noche, Tito salió despacito de la madriguera y empezó a llamar

al Hada-Rata.

HADA MADRINA

El Hada-Rata acudió a la llamada de Tito, bajando por un rayo de luna,

con su corona de estrellas y su manto de nubes.

- ¿Qué quieres de mí, Tito? ¿Por qué me llamas? –preguntó el hada.

Tito le contó sus penas y le dijo:

- Tú, que todo lo puesdes, Hada-Rata, dame alas como las de los

pájaros.

El hada reflexionó un momento y luego dijo:

- Los ratones no tienen alas. Las cosas han sido así desde el principio

del mundo. Pero si tú quieres volar, te convertiré en un animal

especial.

El Hada-Rata tocó con su varita mágica a Tito y el ratoncito sintió

como si una corriente eléctrica atravesara su cuerpo. Unas amplias alas

negras crecieron en sus hombros y se engancharon a sus patitas

delanteras.
